  1. You think America is strange. Have you seen a map of russia and its republics, krais, oblasts, and cities of federal importance? More than 20 of those too.
  2. Have you read the law that is applicable? The law allows the arrest of an alien that enters the "State" (the State in this context being Texas) directly from a foreign country, without legally entering the "State" through legal ports of entry. There are other "defenses" to being in the United States or the State of Texas that preclude the arrest of an alien. The law does not merely allow for the arrest of an alien that is in the United States illegally.
  3. No it wasn't. I watched ... eerrrr ... listened to the entire video!
  4. mikebell must be hanging out with the wrong Thai crowd. My wife and her family are pretty much what you described. A bunch of work a holics! Good with money too. My wife asked if I would loan her $120,000.00 from my retirement fund. She paid it back in less than 2 years. She has a business that earns her more money than anyone else I have known, except that guy down in Texas that sold drill pipe to the oil well industry. He was making over a 3 million a year at 2% sales commission, in today's money! My brother in law (BIL) across the street from me works a full time job and has a side business as well that he works. His ex father and mother in law (EFIL & EMIL) continued to live with him after his wife divorced him and remarried. EFIL & EMIL are up at dawn doing something to make money. I go across the street to talk with BIL's EFIL and I find him always working on something, fixing it up to so the BIL can sell it on facebook. mikebell's all inclusive claims about Thai's fall flat as all the Thai's I know, not just my wife and inlaws, are hard working honest people. That might even include the Thai cop who works in the Vipawadee police department.
  5. I was in Udon Thani area back in 1972 - 1973. The main road through town and the highways traveling in Thailand were paved then. Almost no other road/street was. All the bungalows had chairs or benches for those that wore laced up shoes or boots. Removing laced up shoes or boots was a pain during the dry season, but was a necessity during the rainy season. Otherwise, you tracked mud inside. We never removed boots when entering communication vans or trucks. It was a pain having to mop them out nearly every day during the rainy season. At least in the trucks we could hose the mud out without concern for water sensitive electronic equipment damage. Sometimes there was so much mud tracked into the comm vans on our boots, we used a shovel to scoop some of it out. I remember this as the reason, both in Vietnam and Thailand, as the reason for removing shoes when entering places. Not for hygienic reasons, for muddy reasons. Even here in the U.S. of A., there were houses built with "mud rooms" for the same reason, to remove footwear so as not to walk mud into the house. I live in a 71 year old house and it has a storm door, mud room, and then the entry door.
  6. Everyone knows the earth is not flat. Except flat earthers. Are you a flat earther?

  8. Off the topic of fake watches ... Many years back, in some magazines, I used to see an add for a TV antenna. A copy of a brand name TV antenna. Boldly advertised as a "Genuine Imitation"! I think it sold for the same price as the TV antenna it copied.

  10. Assuming that the control of the vessel is via satellite comms, it would not take much to jam the signal, overpower what crew is aboard, and take over the ship.
  11. What about democrat supporters of meat hunting? Do you understand the mind of those people?
  12. Don't forget, there are those that are believers in having another beer!

  14. Have you met any Lao that speak French? During the Vietnamese/American war, French linguists were needed to translate decrypted messages between the Vietnamese and Lao government/military. The same thing with Cambodia communications between Laos and Vietnam. It was the lingua franca of Southeast Asia, with Thailand being the exception.
  15. “Normally a car fire you can put out with 500 to 1,000 gallons of water,” Austin Fire Department Division Chief Thayer Smith said, according The Independent. “But Teslas may take up to 30,000-40,000 gallons of water, maybe even more, to extinguish the battery pack once it starts burning." Up to 150 000 liters of water needed to put out a fire in an electric ... ctif.org/news/150-000-liters-water-needed-put-out-fire-electric-car
  16. I learned that trick back in 1969, in the U.S. Army basic training.
  17. He had Secret Service agents present at Mar A Lago. I have had to perform work in areas where the secret service provided protection. No one should have been able to access the area where Trump had the documents stored, without the secret service allowing it. Even after having a background investigation for a top secret clearance with SCI access, two back ground investigations as a federal agent for two different security clearances, it was difficult to impossible for me to complete some work in areas where presidents and ex presidents were present. This even when I had an additional background investigation to work places such as democrat and republican conventions, I would be denied access to areas and I was supposed to be there. Can you suggest a way that someone from the general public would have had access to any classified documents in Trump's residence, when the secret service was present when that member of the public was not supposed to be there?
  18. Perhaps it is to the benefit of russia and putin,, regardless if there is any benefit to Trump, if there is any. The russians are in this to benifit their country. They don't care who may gain from their efforts, if any.
  19. And the Trump campaign, which included others as well as Trump, since the dossier was about Trump, and without Trump, there is no Trump campaign to have been investigated!
