  1. Today I have not had any issues thankfully I have taken two Celebrex 200mg at 12 hour intervals. Not the first time I have done it and it never worked yesterday. However I don't really like taking 2 Celebrex a day or at all as I cannot take my blood thinning tablets with them.(Apolets) I have some Neurontin (Gabapentin) and wonder if I should take them instead prior to seeing my neurologist on Monday?
  2. Lucky man...you have a good doctor, we are not all so blessed Stay well
  3. Well I don't. This is the first time I have experienced this problem.... I take it you have diabetes and know everything ? Lucky You
  4. I had 2 shots of Pfyser in August and I have paid for a booster shot at a hospital in Chiang Mai. I have read that you must wait 6 months after the first 2 Pfyser shots to get the booster. However the hospital insist that I can have it anytime between 3 and 6 months. My wife had Sinopharm and that can definately warrant a booster after 3 months. The vaccine I will be getting is Mordena. I really need a definitive answer as I have to go back to the UK after the shot has had a chance to bed in, but I don't want to cause myself trouble. Thanks in advance.
  5. You are not alone, mine doesn't work either and I have not been able to fix it yet
  6. You are right, that's why I only take 200ml once a day, it can mess with your heart I know But if treated with respect, and I mentioned I don't drink I should be OK
  7. I have some Gabapentin in the house, but I am loathe to take it with Celebrex without consulting a doctor
  8. Yes, my blood sugar levels are regularly under 100, I don't drink or smoke. Owing to me recently being hospitalised in ICU I have about every blood test for everything there is so I shall take this info to the specialist I am seeing on Monday. I don't see and endocrinologist.. I see enough specialists as it is but not one of them , whatever they do.I shall have to look that up.
  9. I was thinking that.....why I mentioned it.....I have made an appointment to see a neurologist on Monday and hope that if it is that then there is something that can help me
  10. I am experiencing awful pins and needles in my feet every day. They come on about lunchtime for the last 5 days. I take Celebrex 200mg which takes about 4 hours to make a difference Sometimes it works sometimes it does not and I end up sitting in the bath spraying them with the shower head. Last night I got no sleep at all. I have type 2 diebetis and wonder if that has any bearing on it?
  11. I cant find the pm button on here anymore so send me a message and I will talk to you about our experiences with one of these doctors
  12. If I was you I would consult the spinal centre at Bumrungrad Hospital. Although more expensive you only have one back be careful who you entrust it to. I had surgery carried out by Dr.Sudhee some 16 or 17 years ago to releive a sciatic nerve problem He is the consumate professional, but I am sure he is done now, he was over 65 when he operated on me
  13. Ram have told me that the wait for a Moderna booster after double pfyser shot would be 6 months. My wife had Sinopharm and can have hers in 3.
  14. Dr Kanika is the neurologist at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai She is really lovely and very good at her job
  15. If you don't know It's Not Your Business to be here
  16. So for those of us like yourself that live here, need to get back to our home country and then return to continue living here in Thailand....what's the bottom line cost wise.? I don't need a fancy or long term policy, I self insure as I have too many pre existing conditions to get cover. Like you I have a few cheap policies that cover covid, but not enough coverage to satisfy the Thai requirements. Your response and a recommendation of a company would be very welcome. Just a policy that will get me through the door is all I require Many thanks
  17. Gotta be photoshopped ....that is INSANE who on earth would want to go there...................everybody in the world it would appear!!
  18. Not been yet but friends who have say it's Brit heaven
  19. All my Thai visitors/family sit at the table. I think that they think I may be offended if they sat on the floor
  20. Yuk...nothing worse than drinking from a paper cup. Beer just does not taste the same
  21. As far as I am aware NO vaccine administered in SE Asia is recognized by the UK government
  22. Took my online "test" last week. Right now it consisted if watching a 1 hour video and then answering 4 QUESTIONS relating to that video. Amazingly I got a screen that said I had passed my test and to take a picture of that page. This was not at all what I was expecting. I had spent 2 hours researching info, (some of which I didn't know so no bad thing really). So armed with a health certificate and a proof of address one too it was off to the transport office. I only had to do the colour blindness test. The reaction test was not in use. I was in the office there for about 1 hour by the time I had paid, had my picture taken, license printed Unbelievable. This system is only in place till the end of the year I believe so even if you have a license that is due to expire NEXT year try to get it done now as it will never be easier than this.
  23. We will never know But the main thing is that all is well
