I remember when the PM was supposed to make a public appearance for his shot of vax. He was to be the first recipient. But when he found out it was gonna get Sinovac he promptly cancelled and did the whole thing again once Astrozenica was available. You could not make this stuff up it's so farcical. So obviously the Chinese vaccine is useless by his own reluctance to take it.

People are now canceling their holidays in the west because they are unvaccinated out of choice. Various websites have said that there could be as many as 20% of potential tourists canceling their trip. Although this is still only a proposal people ARE already canceling. This is a monumental cluster F*** by Anutin and his cronies IF it becomes law but the date is fast approaching so people are canceling now. Also two does of Chinese vaccines is nowhere near as comparable with Western Vaccines. Wake up Thailand before the country is brought to its knees with rampant Covid again

So that means all the foreigners from the west who are unvaccinated will now not be allowed entry to the Kingdom? I can see this playing out very badly for tourism. The unvaccinated that wanted to come for a holiday will just cancel rather than be vaccinated because they hold strong anti-vaccine views Tell ne this is not the case?

I see nothing positive coming out if this announcement It seems the Thai authorities are willing to sacrifice all the gains they made with low covid rates to satisfy the greed of the big tourism companies, and the Chinese Government Thailand could well be swamped with Covid......now it's not that easy to get covid vaccines for top ups, well it is here in CM, only a few small hospitals have decent vaccines. If you got 2 Chinese vaccines to begin with , then these are useless now because they don't work. China has proved this

If the Thai Government let the Chinese come in 2023 we can expect an awful lot of covid to come too. They are getting 25m cases a day according to some sources. People in the west can read these stories too and if the Chinese are coming then maybe the westerners won't. Because of thier government's resistance to the fact that western vaccine is superior to thiers so they won't import it, I just can't see how the Chinese are safe to be around....at any time in the near future

Don't think they care. I have had 4 and nobody ever asked me how many I gave had Anutin ,the Health Minister has had 6 or 8 not absolutely sure .

I am trying to source a western booster vaccination for my wife who is going in hospital for a month next week The doctor who is admitting her has said that there has been quite a lot of covid cases in this particular hospital. She could really do without being infected while being ill already. She has had two Chinese vaccines and one Moderna. I would like to give her a second booster before she goes in. I have tried Ram Bangkok Hospital , Rajevej and Lanna with no success. So has anyone any experience getting one elsewhere Many thanks

I am shocked to hear this news. Having been a member of this forum since 2004 I have had many interactions with Nancy down the years. A kind caring, considerate lady who gave a lot if herself to the foreigners living, or having problems living here. My condolences to her husband, the forum will never be the same again without her. Things are improving for me. No dioreah since Thursday and stools are thickening up nicely Stomach pain is mostly gone as well Halfway through taking the parasite meds from my Doctor, so perhaps that was the cause. I am seeing my hospital doctor on Friday for the biopsy results Thanks to everybody who has contributed to this thread It is very much appreciated to know you don't have to face everything alone. I would encourage Thai Visa members who may be reticent to post their health issues on here to do so, there is a wealth if experience to tap into here. Members don't always have the right answers but you can normally suss out the useful ones

Thanks. I am taking multi vitamins and electrolytes. I have previously been tested for Celiac disease and I am clear. Things seem to be calming down, I have just eaten Tuna fish for lunch and an hour later have had no stomach issues so far today. I obviously don't intend to stick to this diet for life, but until I have recovered I will carry on
