A bit over the top to receive an expensive condonium for a win. they are already not poor, so it seems rich are helping the rich again. Nene will get famous now and she will earn a lot if she has a good manager. No neef for such expensive gifts, and everybidy is worried about tax, but we all know that tax is hardly ever paid in Thailand

Speaking of CA taxes the Seattle Seahawks were in Santa Clara for 6 days. They won the Super Bowl and yes the bonus for winning the Super Bowl in CA created an income tax burden. As I recall she was in Los Angeles multiple times during the competition so maybe she can find away out of paying these absurd CA taxes. She is after all a citizen of Thailand and a legal resident of Thailand. She does not have a SSN or a TIN (at least not yet) so does the CA Franchise Tax Board take it's "cut" before she gets paid or does she have to pay afterwards.. Remember she is a minor after all at 16 so this might change things.

It’s paid over 40 years unless she takes a cash lump sum offer of 300,000 dollars before taxes. Then taxed again if she sends it to Thailand.

I actually think that pays quite good too. So, it will be a zero problem.

And since she is only 16, and considered to be a child, she isn't old enough to sign any legally binding contracts. She would need to be at least 18.

Yeah exactly, all this talk of only getting 12 / 10 / 9 million baht, think my paper roung paid £4 a week when i was 16.
