I listened to what they were saying and one of them said "British".

I looked up a few more sources and the story seems to be the following:

This zoo has had problems with Israelis for almost 2 years.

They have been harassing the female owner and mistreating the animals, sometimes by letting their kids just walk into the birdcages and later complain why they have poop on their shoes and then flooding their website with negative reviews.

It went so far that they even killed a parrot.

They also try to get in without paying with their latest trick be being having one of them enter the zoo and pay for the ticket and then secretly open the exit door and let eight other Israelis in.

The owner has regularly filed complaints with the authorities but as this did not help she put a free Palestine flag at the entrance hoping to keep Israelis away.

That`s when the <deleted>storm started with her getting up to 90 messages, some of them threatening her life, every day.

Hers is not the only business facing problems with Israelis in Thailand. Many restaurants reported that they have been bullied or Israelis moved on without payment.

 

A lot of Israeli people seem to have this really horrible sense of entitlement that comes partly from being that they themselves consider to be the "chosen people", which could not possibly be farther from the truth, and partly from being rather defensive about their nation, their nation's policies, and who they are.

Everybody should have the right to refuse service to anyone regardless of nation race or nationality based on consistently bad behavior. So I think it's overall a positive thing for Israelis to get a taste of their own medicine.

That's discrimination based on nationality, same as is the case here. Afaik that's allowed in Thailand.

I have a hard time believing you can honestly think Jews who were confined in concentration and death camps learned their attitudes from the Nazis. Regarding the examples you gave of Israeli tourists behaving badly in Thailand, that happens with all foreign tourist visitors. Some will always get out of line and even commit crimes under local law. Israeli tourists aren't unique in this respect.

During the nine years I lived full time in Pattaya, I saw countless examples of tourist misbehavior involving nationals from Russia, the U.K., Norway, Ireland, Australia, India. Sweden. China and several others. Only a small number were violent incidents and they almost always involved drunk bar patrons. Rude behavior and shouting matches were rampant, but it usually didn't get more serious than that.

That's a fact of life in tourist areas. It's unfortunate but it happens.

Israeli tourists are by no means the worst. That badge of shame is probably worn by Russians, followed by mainland Chinese. Among Western countries, British hooligans and chavs have the worst reputation, with Aussie bogans kicking up badly in Bali and elsewhere. Drunk young men from Sweden and Norway aren't usually violent but can become troublesome.

Well I was brought up as a Jew and I've been around Jews my whole life, and there are a remarkable percentage of Jews that buy into this chosen people nonsense.

I loved Jews I have many Jewish friends and and close family members but I think that it's always healthy to admit the shortcomings that some of our people have. Isn't it?

Absolutely 100%, I have no problem avoiding establishments that don't want my patronage. I'm very happy to find another alternative. No offense taken whatsoever, and that's how reasonably mature men with thick skin typically react.
