Samui Park Owner Reports Threats Over Palestine Flag

A Koh Samui animal park owner says she received threatening messages after displaying a “Free Palestine” flag at her attraction, including an alleged threat from an Israeli tourist over her political views.

The dispute centres on Samui Exotic Park, located in Mae Nam Soi 1 on Koh Samui. In a social media post, the park said a man contacted the business after noticing a Palestinian flag and message displayed at the venue.

Owner describes threatening messages

According to the owner, the man first asked whether the park had put up a Palestinian flag. After she confirmed that it had, she alleges he responded with offensive remarks about Palestinians and threatened violence against people in Gaza.

The owner said she decided to display the flag after becoming frustrated with what she described as repeated problems involving some foreign visitors. She alleged these included taking food without paying, entering restricted areas without permission and mishandling animals at the attraction.

In her social media post, she stressed that the park welcomes visitors of every nationality but expects everyone to respect its rules.

“This is Thailand,” she wrote, adding that paying an entrance fee does not entitle customers to behave however they wish.

One-star review campaign alleged

The owner also claimed that, following the exchange, the attraction became the target of multiple one-star reviews on Google Maps posted by groups of tourists all from a certain nationalities.

Samui Exotic Park said it remains open as normal and is prepared to deal with any further developments.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and the social media posts reflect the owner’s account of events. Authorities have not made any statement yet.
