Thai Airways cancels flights on key routes

Thai Airways has announced further flight cancellations across domestic and international routes between 30 September and 1 October 2026.

The airline's detailed route list covers 32 services scheduled for 30 September and 1 October, including flights between Bangkok and major European, Asian and Thai destinations. The reason for the cancellations was the ongoing issues and effects after the Bangkok flooding.

Flights listed for September 30

The domestic flights listed for cancellation are Bangkok-Phuket TG201, TG205 and TG217; Bangkok-Chiang Mai TG102; Bangkok-Khon Kaen TG040; Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani TG020; and Bangkok-Udon Thani TG002.

International cancellations listed for 30 September are Bangkok-Munich TG924, Brussels TG934, Copenhagen TG950, Zurich TG970, Amsterdam TG936, London TG916, Hong Kong TG638, Frankfurt TG922 and Taipei TG632.

Also cancelled are Bangkok-Osaka TG622, Seoul TG656, Tokyo Narita TG642, Kuala Lumpur TG417, Singapore TG403 and TG407, New Delhi TG315, Mumbai TG317, Sydney TG475, Tokyo Haneda TG660, Manila TG620 and Hong Kong TG600.

The cancelled Bangkok-London TG916 service and flights to Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Amsterdam, Brussels and Copenhagen may be particularly relevant to expats travelling between Thailand and Europe, or those with onward connections booked from Bangkok.

Four European services cancelled on October 1

For 1 October, Thai Airways listed four international cancellations: Bangkok-Paris TG930, Bangkok-Brussels TG934, Bangkok-Milan TG940 and Bangkok-Stockholm TG960.

Passengers holding tickets for any of the affected services should check their booking directly with the airline before travelling to the airport. Those with connecting itineraries, including separately booked onward flights, may need to review their arrangements promptly.
