BANGKOK, 5 September 2017 (NNT) - Government agencies have held a meeting to discuss information sharing, in order to better deal with security and natural disaster threats.

Deputy Minister of Defense Gen Udomdej Sitabutr chaired the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the National Security Council and the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Public Health, and Digital Economy and Society. The memorandum aims to allow the country to better deal with public threats by integrating intelligence, resources, equipment, and manpower.

The government will conduct training courses to learn of the strengths and weaknesses of each agency and promote efficient cooperation between government units, the private sector, and the general public.
