Hal65
I see those little battery powered fans with what looks like 2" blades for sale at some places. Some appear to have a water reservior as well for squirting moisture. Do they work or are they too small to result in any meaningful heat relief? thaibeachlovers
I've seen people using them, so I would say yes. Good to carry in a bag to use in places like on a bus or any non AC space away from home.
Travel2003
Yes they do. I bought a few for my relatives when they flew inn, because I knew they would struggle with heat.
malt25
For the minimul price of said fans, I'd buy one & try it for myself.
lychee
The simple old style hand held fan works just as well. Think of it as valuable wrist exercise to keep your joints subtle.

Paul Laycock1
Is Father Christmas real and do you believe in Fairies? You certainly would look like a Fairy walking around with a hand held fan.

Paul Laycock1
Alternatively carry an old car door frame around and every time your feeling hot wind the window down.
Antioc
They must work ok because a lot of old Thai ladies use them.

That works on the same lines as when you have toothache put on some elevator music, cover your coffee table in out of date Nat' Geo' and ladies magazines and sit staring at it with your head in your hands. Toothache gone in 2 minutes.
Paul Laycock1
Don't forget the Town and Country mag. Also a good idea to leave a charitable donation for dentists without Porches and boats.
