PM congratulates Chao Laem on retaining WBC title

 

BANGKOK, 11 September 2017 (NNT) – The Prime Minister congratulated Chao Laem after the boxer retained his World Boxing Council (WBC)’s title and admired him for his perseverance. 

Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha congratulated "Chao Laem" Sisaket Nakhonluang Promotion on retaining his WBC super flyweight world title in the United States after defeating Roman Gonzalez by tko in the fourth round. 

The prime minister expressed his admiration for Chao Laem's victory as it made the people of Thailand happy, garnering reputation and national pride for the country. 

He said that Chao Laem's success was not earned by chance but from practice and perseverance, and that everyone should follow his example.
