Soldiers and police have launched a manhunt for a group of foreigners known to be riding heavy motorcycles in connection with the assault of a British pub owner in Surin on two consecutive nights.

Lawyers’ group urges expedition of sedition case against ex-PDRC leaders

A Buddhist organisation has called for a gaming company to stop selling a street fighterstyled game titled “Fight of God”, in which depictions of Jesus and Buddha battle each other, saying the game engendered misunderstanding and entailed disrespectful acts in regards to Buddhist symbols.

Medical students’ psychiatric health in spotlight after alleged dog poisoning

A MEDICAL student is facing an ethical probe for allegedly poisoning dogs in the hope of claiming compensation.


BANGKOK: -- The Mahidol University’s Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital yesterday resolved to set up a committee to investigate the alleged ethical offence. The faculty also decided to suspend the unidentified student from his studies until the investigation concludes.
