What is the VERY BEST thing about living in Thailand??

Featured Replies

One of the very best things about living in Thailand is having a long-term girlfriend 30+ years younger than you which, if only about 30 years old, a fellow farang can hardly appreciate.

... and when asked (Thai conversation) by a Thai person "Do you have a wife or a girlfriend?" depending upon my mood, I just say: BOTH!

Domestic, regional, and long-haul travel possibilities. Whether it be a weekend on an Andaman island, or a 2+ week holiday in Europe, Thailand allows for almost limitless travel opportunities.

I was a feminist way back in the sixties. I still am. And I am a man.

Unfortunately, most feminists today are not real feminists.

Know what I mean?

Haha i know exactly what you mean!

One of the best things about Thailand is the lack of PC nonesense and feminist influence. In general, the whinging, entitled, self obsessed, politically illiterate but opinionated wimmin are no part of Thai life. Nor is the Gay lobby or BAME activists. And in Pattaya no generation panty waist or obnoxious backpackers!

for me, living in Phuket , being able to head to the beach and swim almost everyday of the year

and not having to ever wear socks

And as expected when i started the thread...the majority would have to say it has something to do with Thai women. I couldn't blame them because these Women are gorgeous!! and Yes i am straight. Haha. I mean the average American woman is most likely not to be as feminine as the average Thai woman...some men prefer this and some don't. At the end of the day, i would argue that it has got everything to do with the culture. Oozing some form of submissiveness has got everything to do with culture. Having friends that are Asian and African, i tend to think that women from these two cultures are most likely to be this way because it is sought of engraved in them. It's a part of them..and this doesn't necessarily have to be something bad or something that they should be ashamed of. In a current world full of Feminists...saying things like this can actually get you in trouble :post-4641-1156693976:  :shock1:

I'm a ( reluctant ) feminist when my bird wants to " enjoy the love " of another ladee .. :shock1:
