PM Prayut appreciates national and military strategies at National Defense College

BANGKOK, 15th September 2017 (NNT) - The Prime Minister has expressed his appreciation for the national and military strategies proposed by the National Defense College of Thailand.

Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, on Thursday attended the presentation of the national and military strategies for 2018-2037 involving students of the National Defense College of Thailand, the Joint Staff College and colleges of all three armed forces.

After the presentation, PM Prayuth said that he has been impressed with the details of the strategies as they are in line with the current government’s plans, particularly the 20-year national strategy related to national security, international relations, the economy, socio-economics as well as politics.

The PM also appreciated the students’ proposal on the setting up of a new agency to be in charge of the implementation of all strategies and the subsequent assessments.

In addition, Gen. Prayut has urged an active crackdown on narcotics, corruption and deforestation while pledging the government’s determination to investigate all instances of suspected graft and reminded students at the event to work to serve the country, not just try to establish networks for their own gains.

"In addition, Gen. Prayut has urged an active crackdown on narcotics, corruption and deforestation......"

You forgot to add "....as well basic human rights."

"......while pledging the government’s determination to investigate all instances of suspected graft and reminded students at the event to work to serve the country, not just try to establish networks for their own gains."

You mean unlike what you did with the Eastern Tigers?
