next month me and the thai gf are going to australia for 6 weeks.  we are starting up in cairns, renting/hiring a motorhome/caravan and heading south to adelaide.

any cool places things restaurants, the things you dont see on tripadvisor?

what about recommendations about a mobile phone/sim card.   we only need limited talk time, but will need a good amount of data. gps, and as camping not sure how much wifi we going to find.

amaysim, are a great way to save money on your phone, calls to Thailand are 6 bht a minute, I have one that I stick in the phone when I arrive, they use the optus network, just need an address for them to send the card to in Australia
