Dashcam installation

Featured Replies

I would be extremely grateful if someone could please recommend a company or individual to professionally install a Blackvue DR650S-2CH Dashcam with Power Magic Pro for direct connection to the battery of a 2014 Toyota Fortuner. Ideally, I would like the wiring to be hidden in the roof lining, particularly for the rear camera.

At present I have the front camera properly mounted on the windshield but connected to the cigarette lighter which is not ideal, as when the ignition is switched off the camera does NOT record whilst parked.

I live and work around the Bang Khae area but for the right service, I am willing to travel to the source of help.

Thank you so much! ?

If you trade up to a Ford, the ciggy lighters stay live for about 55 minutes (or forever if there's a current draw).

If you search in the first 2-3 pages of this section of the forum, you will see at least a couple of threads about dashcams that will have recommendations for Bangkok dashcam installers.

NanLaew, thank you so much for your response. However, what do you mean by the first two pages of this forum? The Motoring Forum? This is all new to me so sorry to be a pain. ?
