Full disclosure, I'm the CEO of Passion Delivery.

After reading this you'll probably never buy beef or steak from a supermarket ever again, at least in Bangkok.

If you are a beef and steak lover then you may also want to consider ordering some excellent quality beef and steaks from Company B here https://www.passiondelivery.com/products?shop_id=111&sort_by=name_asc

Company B specialise in Australian prime cuts and their famous 55 day dry aged Black Label beef (the tomahawk, t-bone and ribeye are the bestsellers).

Company B only deliver within Bangkok at the moment and have chosen Passion Delivery to be their exclusive online retail partner.

The prices and quality are excellent, up to 25% cheaper than the supermarket for the exact same high quality. We can offer these unbeatable prices because we connect you directly to the producer which reduces their costs and we pass these costs savings directly to you.

Check out our actual photos.

Never over pay for high quality beef and steaks ever again!

You say it is Australian beef, but in the description on your website you say the company is owned by two Thai guy's who produce it locally, which would make it Thai beef.

"In Thailand, high quality delicious flavoured meat was usually imported resulting in high prices. These two friends have developed their own way of producing excellent quaity meat locally."

Makes me confused, prices seems normal for Australian beef, but a bit overpriced for Thai beef

A good question.

The animals are imported from Australia when they are young and then fed a special nutritious diet on a carefully managed farm in northern Thailand. The guys behind this company are truly passionate about animal welfare and ensuring they produce the highest quality beef possible. Their attention to detail is amazing.

What you end up with is superb quality beef at much lower prices for comparable quality in the supermarkets. Believe me, it 10x better than locally produced Thai beef (from Thai animals).

Don't take my word for it though, give it a try and see for yourself!

Currently this beef is only available for delivery within Bangkok area.

I'm trying to persuade the vendor to start delivering up country.

Some of our customers who live outside of Bangkok get their friends who live in Bangkok to order it (usually a lot!) and then bring it with them when they visit....

Interesting concept, just wonder why they not use the cows to breed - would be financially more interesting I guess (and putting calves on a ship from AUS to TH is not exactly animal friendly...)

Will give it a try once I have the opportunity - driving to BKK for a steak is not an option for me; I will have to stick with my local butcher right now (who has excellent Thai beef if you compare it with the rubber they sell in the supermarkets)

They must have their reasons as I'm sure they would try to keep costs as low (and quality as high) as possible.

At Passion Delivery there are vendors who deliver up country too, Sloane's and the Accidental Butcher being popular ones, links here:

Some of our customers who live outside of Bangkok get their friends who live in Bangkok to order it (usually a lot!) and then bring it with them when they visit....

I live in area code 60190 in Nakhon Sawan Province.  When Company B signed up to your new business plan they would deliver to this area code.  I contacted them regarding delivery and their price increase and they said that they delivered by the courier service that, although they packed the order in foam containers with dry ice, they used refrigerated trucks that they used for restaurant orders .  I was interested in the tomahawk steaks and when I asked them why the price had doubled from their original offering on your old website they said that they had increased the aging time from 30 days to 55 days.

I also contacted Accidental Butcher and although they said that they delivered, they only delivered to the nearest main bus station which is  110 kilometers from my house.  The seafood vendors also went away and the remaining one does not deliver here although they would sell to me direct if I picked up the order at the bus station..

I decided not to order from any of them and it seems that Company B's initial delivery method did not work as they no longer deliver here..  I now order from another on line supplier that consolidates orders and am satisfied with their products especially seafood as many of your old vendors have now signed up with them.

I can understand the reasons behind your introducing the new business plan, but frankly it sucks for us that live up country unless all you want is body oils and other things that can be delivered by EMS.  I do still buy bagels from Feedpoint but the other products that I am interested in are no longer available with your new system.  Before you changed I had placed many orders over the past years.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

The issue of up country delivery is tricky as there doesn't seem to be any one reliable logistics company that can cover the whole country. In fact for a company like Sloane's (where Passion Delivery is their exclusive online retail partner offering more than 100 Sloane's products) or The Accidental Butcher, it takes a lot of planning and significant cost to be able to send packages out nationwide.

Also we try our best to persuade vendors to offer this, understandably some cannot due to not enough staff, time etc. I do understand that this makes things less convenient for customers who live up country but at the moment it is a tough problem to solve. At least we do offer some excellent vendors products who do deliver nationwide.

If you sign up to our newsletter (found at the bottom of our homepage at www.passiondelivery.com) you will be kept fully up to date on important announcements such as if a vendor now offers nationwide delivery. We are always adding new vendors and products and aim to have around 4500 products online by the end of the year. All will be the best price paid for the high quality received.

Some TV forum members are asking us how we can offer such good prices on Company B beef...

Our aim to to connect our customers to amazing vendors both big and small who can use our marketplace to bypass the supermarkets. Supermarkets add on huge margins and also have loads of other costs that they pass on to vendors (such as shelving fees, placement fees, returns fees etc). This means that for vendors to work with supermarket is very very expensive and this simply results in big profits for supermarkets but vendors being squeezed and end customers paying more than they should.

By partnering with Passion Delivery vendors can offer their products directly to customers on a marketplace that customers already know and trust. This saves vendors money and we can pass these savings directly to you.

Our beef and steak from Company B is a good example of where we can offer much better prices because you are in effect ordering directly from the vendor through our marketplace.  Check out these unbeatable deals here https://www.passiondelivery.com/products?shop_id=111&sort_by=name_asc. Our dry aged burger patties (180 grams) have been reduced from 150 baht each to just 109 baht for the whole month of October as well as unbeatable prices on many other prime cuts.

Finally a reminder that to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary we are offering valued customers 10% off their entire order.

Valid until the end of today (30th September) so you'd better hurry!

Simply input code PDBDAY2017 at checkout at www.passiondelivery.com.
