Manhunt for the lone robber who robs SCB bank of about 600,000 baht

 

Police in Bang Nam Priew district of Chachoengsao have launched a manhunt for a man who robbed the Siam Commercial Bank’s branch in the district of about 600,000 baht in cash Friday afternoon.

 

Pol Maj-Gen Thiraphol Chindaluang, commander of Chachoengsao province, said he believes the lone robber who is between 170-180 cm high is still hiding somewhere in Bang Nam Priew district.

 

He added that he had ordered his men to examine the footage of all CCTV system at and around the robbed bank in Tambon Don Chimplee and suspected escape routes in a bid to try to track the robber.

Banks rob us so it's only fair that we rob them!

Not quite sure how you rob a bank in Thailand, do

they keep that much cash just laying around? whenever i got to my bank, 3 tellers there have little money in them draws and when i had to withdraw over a 100k the pit boss had to go to the

big safe behind to get it, somebody just don't care by making robing them so easy....

Yes, it´s most common that much money is not held in the open counters. Maybe this guy had a little bit of planning after all. Almost once a day, there usually is a bigger movement of money in a quite large box. Just maybe he staked the place out and know what time or just was lucky.

However, I am quite sure that they will find him soon. If not he will be stupid enough to make a mistake later and get caught.
