Yes, it confused me too but the solicitor explained it - by definition, a certified copy can't be the original. The only thing that the embassy needs is the copy with the solicitor's stamp and signature confirming they saw the originating document.

  • Lincsman  you do need to include  that form. I recall filling in 1 copy although not 100% sure, it might have been 3. You do not need to get it notarized tho. The embassy website is the only one

  • This was my experience too with the non O/A in London 11 months ago (I went in person). Only one certified copy of each document was needed.

Yup - I did - I sent 3 copies -  but from reading about berybert and others experience it is not clear that 3 were needed - The check sheets says three, but I now am not certain
