Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha ordered comprehensive water management to speeding floodwater drainage into the sea to minimize risks of massive flooding as many provinces have been hit by severe floods.

He voiced concern as several provinces were submerged after they were hit by rainstorms yesterday, particularly Ayutthaya province.

Gen Prayut said he was concerned over the current water situation in low-lying areas in the central plain, which receives accumulated run-off from the North together with heavy rainfall.

Flooding in the provinces concerns PM

...especially, because it was he, who said, there would be none!

Flush it through before the critical week in Bangkok.

Well, he said there won't be any flood this year. We must believe him, not.

they only care about Bangkok

was he telling porky pies when he earlier said no flooding ?

Prayut the Great Prophesier has spoken! Be warned the floods will be upon you. In this case he may be correct.

Just had it confirmed by friends in northern Vietnam that heavy rains are sweeping across the country and headed Thailand's way.

I deffently smell a damning rat here one big reason a political party copped shit here was that they allowed flooding to happen

Dear Mr PM,

Thanks for your concern. But I don't need your words, I need your action. Please pop around today and help me move some stuff.

Kind regards

newatthis.

PS Don't forget your gumboots.

PPS Please bring a big truck. My wife is a hoarder [ "We can sell it"]. She's away at the moment, so it's a good opportunity to throw out the rubbish; else it'll go floating around the yard.

Folks, this year reminds me of 2010 [the year before the big one]. A very wet Oct with floods where I live in Ayutthaya through until mid- Nov.

If the flooding gets any worse he'll be able to visit the provinces in his new yellow submarine!

Wait for our own TVF panel of experts to explain that this will be different from the 2010 flood and no one in the junta should be held accountable.:passifier:

So now we know the reason for the submarines, the ptb's escape route when these floods hit Bangkok.

ah a different type of rain

a bit like snow on the tracks in the UK that stops the trains-different type of snow?
