Thai people seem to be so susceptible to these kinds of scams.

My dear old Mom used to say "if it seems too good to be true then it probably is".

Unfortunately with the amount of ignorance here and in other poor countries you're going to have things like this happen.

Just because people have money doesn't mean they aren't ignorant.

Ignorance is the biggest disease facing this country and it's an epidemic.
Not just Thai people. Remember Bernie Madoff?

how many buffaloes is that?

Easy, just take the number of sick family members and multiply by the number of 'brothers' she has and divide by last weeks winning lottery numbers.

Always nice to see that Ponzi is alive and well and living in Thailand.

Well if the other guy a few days ago received a jail sentence of 13,275 years , surely it's worth an immediate international arrest warrant for this lady?:giggle:

You would have thought that with all the financial turmoil that has happened in the recent past that people should have figured out that there is no such thing and a sure fire investment and what they are doing is little other than gambling. These people are invigorated by greed and rush in to this sort of thing forget that you can lose money too, and if you do, then tough-titties. If it sounds too good to be true then usually it is and strange they can't spot a Ponzi scheme is this day and age as it's been done-to-death here. These people charge in with no research or doing any normal checks that an investor should do...lambs to the slaughter, it's scamland remember.
