Death toll from Somalia bombings rises to 358

MOGADISHU (Reuters) - The number killed in twin bombings in the Somali capital Mogadishu last weekend has risen to 358, the government said late on Friday.

 

As well as the confirmed death toll, 228 people were injured in what was the deadliest attack in the country's history, Somalia's news agency quoted the information and internal security ministers as saying.

To be fair, it's just a tiny % of Somalis who are killing others.

Not to any way justify it, but it's yet another manifestation of the following conditions:

 

>>>  so-called leaders immersed in a mean-spirited cult.

>>>  serious lack of natural resources.  They've got sand and salt water, ....but how many acres of vege gardens or orchards on decent soil?   Zero?   How many forest trees for lumber?   Zero?  

 

The carrying capacity for humans in that part of the world is about 6 per acre.  In some places, there are 500/acre.  There are overcrowded refugee camps in failed states.  Bangkok soi dogs have better living conditions.

This is simplistic. Outside forces have been and are contributing substantially to the living hell that Somalia has become.
