Different kinds of Non-B Visa?

Featured Replies

Sawadee krub! Me and my brother work and live here in Thailand, but in different companies. We both have work permit and Non-B Visa. The only difference is he reports only to the nearest Immigration office while I need to exit the country every 90 days. We both already tried to ask our companies about this but they couldn't explain it very well to us. To anyone who has the knowledge, would you be so kind to lighten me up about why do I need to exit the country every 90 days and can't just report to my nearest immigration just like my brother does? Do we have different kind/type of Non-B Visa?

Thank you so much in advance.

Apparently he has a one year extension of stay (not a visa) issued by immigration and you have a multiple entry non-b visa obtained at an embassy or consulate.

If your employer, your salary and etc qualifies for it you could also get a extension of stay during the last 30 days of any of the 90 entries from your visa. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/content/service_1

Finally I'm relieved. Big thanks for replying and another one for sharing the link. Really appreciate it!

Bear in mind that 'if' the employment ends the one reporting to Imm' every 90 days will have his extension cancelled and will get 7 days to leave Thailand. ( costs 1900 baht )

The one who is leaving and returning every 90 days can keep doing so until the enter by date on the 'visa'
