New Customs Clearence Procedure (import)

Featured Replies

I heard that the Thai Customs is moving on to a "Paperless" Customs clearance procedure...Does anyone have any information on this in English? I can't find the info anywhere in English....

What's this whole thing about? I heard that my company has to apply for this Paperless thingy, otherwise we can't import our goods to sell.

We already have our import license, which is the so-called "Manager Card"....what else do we have to do?

Please help! Thank you!

Talk to your customs broker. They should have all details.About time they went paperless.I wonder if this will effect corruption...

You haven't seen the news ? The whole system was... "delayed". Because of course : unworkable (software not ready, people not trained, and basically no information provided)...

And I guess : it's should be a real understatement... :o

Anyway : you need to use an "agent" for all your imports. Ask him : he knows.

Yeah they could not get the computer to understand Tea Money!! :o Therefore the delay
