Further to this ... similar (but different) to what I posted elsewhere, most expat foreigners on a Long Term visa (type-O, OA) have a "6" as the first of the 13 digits in their pink-ID. Apparently that first digit is important. I note from another article on this news, that the pink-ID of these refugees getting that variant of the pink-ID (as refugees) may have the number "0" as the first number. I think that "0" as the first digit in the 13 digit sequence, means they have access to Thai Health care, and it grants them a work visa. I am not 100% certain that is correct. I have yet to find out all these details (out of nothing more than plan curiosity on my part).
