Need help with unexpected iPad and DTAC content charges

Featured Replies

The gf's granddaughter has an iPad Mini II with a DTAC SIM. All she does is play games. I am not familiar with iPad and only get to look at it once or twice a month. The problem is that recently when I check the usage via the DTAC app, it shows several charges of 10 baht for "content." The items say "clip" or "clip4" I think. There are no other details.

Anyone know of any general setting that blocks all apps from deducting money from the carrier package? Otherwise I can't think of any solution other than deleting all games.

The kid also uses Youtube. Could any charges relate to that?

Contact DTAC via Chat, telephone or forum as below or pop into a DTAC service centre.

They will make sure that the service is cancelled and a refund made if appropriate.

So easy these days to click on something that auto subscribes you.

Thanks. It sounds like you can unsubscribe from the DTAC app. I'll have to have a closer look at that.
