A joint force comprising police and soldiers laid siege to a house in Ban Cho Bo in Tambon Paen, Sai Buri district, at 3.30am. At 4.10am, a Muslim man, Madee Doloh, came out to meet the authorities and said he owned the house. He said two men, he knew only as Ma and Sae, were hiding inside. The authorities said the suspects started firing at 6.30am, prompting the security forces to return fire. Both suspects were killed at the scene.
