I have got a question. Yesterday i got in to a converation with my friends about Tax refunds and they told me that i could refund my tax on the way back to my home country is it true?? if it is what is the proper procedure or is it even possiable...

I came from USA, and working in thailand, do i still have to do my U.S Taxes? what happens if you live over here without doing your taxes? if i make less do I have to pay, or will they give me money? I dont support the US foriegh policy anymore so Im just curious how americans are dealing with the situation, whats the law? It may seem complicated but I just want to know the facts, thx

You can obtain a refund of VAT you pay if you are here on a tourist type visa. To do so, however, you must get a certificate issued by the store ON THE DAY OF PURCHASE!

If you are working here and talking about a refund of Thai income tax, your informers are wrong!
