Thai parents in Korat are in grief after their 29 year old daughter was reportedly murdered in South Korea.

Chutima Plernkitcharoen was working in a car factory and was killed by the driver who took her to work.

Thai Rath reported in a Facebook news video that Chutima had refused the man's advances. He murdered her and buried her 200 kilometers away.

Later he admitted what he had done to his boss who called in the police who arrested the driver.

Chutima had originally gone to South Korea about ten years ago with her Thai husband and had had a child. But her husband left her and remarried and returned to Thailand.

She stayed on to work and was the main breadwinner for her family who come from Nong Bua Sa-art in Nakorn Ratchasima.

The family have been left in desperate circumstances. Chutima is in the hospital morgue and they have no money to repatriate her remains.

The Thai embassy and officials in Thailand are working to resolve the case and the family hope to fly to South Korea soon.

Very sad situation, much as we see all too regularly with foreign victims lost to Thailand.

maybe the Thai authorities will put more effort into helping this family, than they do for foreign victims in thailand

and then there’s gofundme, I suppose.... Thais are hardly tech challenged, when it comes to using the internet.

Undoubtedly very sad, and truly hope the government steps forward to help to bring her body to Thailand and seek justice to Korean Government.

Seek Justice, start giving it to Farangs first, when that has been done it may happen the other way until then no

I wonder if it was a lovers quarrel gone wrong?

Human madness, cruelty, wickedness, rudeness, meanness and so on, will never cease to aghast and dismay - should it be in here, around us, over there,  in Thailand, in South Korea or anywhere in the world....a real global disease...

Lovers?

He was a scumbag with a fragile ego unable to take rejection according to the reported facts.

So the girl stayed abroad to work and continued to send money home and from the article she was the main bread winner.  I hope she is in a special place.
