One more?

are you referring to the "offshore helicopter patrol carrier"?

that old thang?

no, i mean an honest to god nimitz-class nukular carrier,

worthy of thailand 4.0:  hub of hubs.  maybe with a half

dozen squadrons of the new joint sino-thai fighters

produced in thai prisons.

The millions for the military toys, could better use to improve safety in the harardous Thai roads perhaps with different national campaigns either to check, enforce or the train drivers of public vehicles...or improve road infrastructure ?...or maybe develop a more efficient public transport grid nationwide efficient enough to discorage commuters from using their cars ?

...or improve training of police officers to enforce the laws or plainly to increase their motivation and honesty of the police force in increasing their salaries

.....not to mention a million other ways of spending the money for general public interest and safety.

Couldn't agree more. Too many countries waste resources on unnecessary military procurement, those in the loop profit, the countries lose.

Thailand has been the hub of drones since 2104.

drone:
"a person who does no useful work and lives off others".
Also the hub of hi-tech blimps.

"You only get one Alan Bond in your lifetime" as said by Kerry Packer on the buy back of his TV station. China may be eyeing Thailand off as their Alan Bond. They did buy the bomb detectors which was swept under the carpet. Plus they have article 44 for protection. So what could go wrong in such an alliance?
