November 17, 20178 yr Is there a travel agency with better prices than online? Thank you Airline prices ebb and flow. Some say buy months early, others say wait until the last minute. There is no right answer. Track prices via Kayak or some other on line price tracker to get a feel for the prices, then buy when the price, flight duration and schedule works best for you. There really are no short cuts or magic, secret solutions. Sent from my iPad using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
November 18, 20178 yr kayak, http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ https://www.skyscanner.co.th/?langid=EN than go look direct at the airline site seen fares under $500 r/t bangkok ( or phuket ) to sfo on China eastern or Southern China
November 18, 20178 yr Cheapest flights to the USA are nearly always with the Chinese airlines, China Southern , China Eastern, Air China etc. Book direct with the airline or go to an agent and compare. The benefit of an agent is they can create the intinerary with the connections of your preference, you are not stuck with what the website offers. You do need to use a good agent though plus it could be cheaper too.

November 18, 20178 yr Like others said use all the online websites available such as , Travelocity, CheapO air, Priceline , etc. and don't only concentrate on the price. unless it is absolutely necessary. Many cheap fares have long layovers on at least one of the legs. Others arrive at BKK very late , making connecting flights impossible and if having a connecting flight requiring a hotel overnight stay wasting any savings. Wife is coming to Thailand next week , to supervise building of our new home, not sure how long it will take so one way ticket. I looked at all the different sites, It seems they must get different batches of ticket because there were different airlines offered , and different itineraries. Most had long layovers, all the good ones arrived late at night in BKK and wife would have to stay in hotel to catch next days flight to KKC so any savings would be lost. Settled with AVA (a good airline IMO) for $100 more, but a short layover , and a mid day arrival . Good luck. PS: went with Travelocity this time, they had the best attinuery for me . Three months ago we used CheapO air, last May. Priceline had the best attinuary/price combo. The point is check them all thay are always changing . Edited November 18, 20178 yr by sirineou
