wildwildbill
Hi there. Anyone had experience of getting paperwork for an old motorbike? I am planning on restoring my wife's 1976 Honda C70 which she has owned for over 11 years, but it doesn't have a green book or any paperwork, only the original back number plate. A company on FB offered to help for 45k! Any advice? Thanks
DILLIGAD
I’d check out the company as false books abound and the fines for having one would be far worse than riding an unregistered bike.Might be worth asking a few of the classic car/bike pages/forums???Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kwasaki
Ask your local DLT office.
paz
I recall that if road tax has not been paid for a number f years (5 maybe ?) the vehicle is expunged from registration, can't be insured, etc. Personally I would start getting a police report for the lost papers and with them in hand visit DLT. Even if they can't help, having these papers in hand is still better than nothing in all cases.
