I got the Dtac package yesterday. Just bought a Dtac sim and topped it up 540b to cover the first month of the data package. When my parents come I can activate the package and then they can get it for the second month also if it works well enough.

You can always test the Double speed to 8 Mbps 24 hour package if you have access to their intended location. At a cost of 31.03 baht.

after the word remark: It just says it is type prepaid sim and that the sim card must be registred at any true shop or true agent before it can be used and that it is valid 1 year (after registration) and that there is no need to fill up with money after it has been bought (to use internet)

Hmm. At that price I could put one in an old tablet and leave it permanently in my car for Spotify on the radio and GPS traffic update use.

Good find.

What make/model do you use for that? Most of these things on Lazada seem to be no-name Chinese products with no warranty.

My True DOCSIS went down for many hours yesterday, tried DTACs 20mbps unlimited/24h at 39THB / day and it seemed OK, was able to stream IPTV in HD with it. A bit of stuttering as bandwidth not so smooth in my location.

They are all Chinese these days.

A bit pricey, but it is Thailand.

AIS has a unlimited data plan @ 6mbps speed for 600bht per month but on a 12 month postpaid contract. So if you're willing to spend 7200bht for 3 months use , this is ideal.

You can get the same 6 Mbps prepaid for 550 baht per month...non recurring just have to re-up every month.

Really, I have their pamphlet and its not advertised, that would be ideal for myself as I pay 6 months per year unnecessarily. What's it called , mine is Buffet Net.
