A lot of people gathered at the starting point at 4.30am in front of the PTT petrol station in Tambon Khun Krathing in Chumphon's Mueang district on Asia 41 road, as Toon and his group warmed up.

The starting point was the 772nd kilometre mark of his 2,191-kilometre run from Betong district in Yala to Mae Sai district in Chiang Mai.

Toon plans to cover 53 kilometres on Tuesday.

His last stop of the day will be Home Beach resort on Laem Taen beach in Tambon Chumkho in Chumphon's Pathieu district.
