Ministers rumored to be removed in new Cabinet line-up unworried about reshuffle

BANGKOK, 22nd November 2017 (NNT) - Cabinet ministers, who have been rumored to be among those likely to be removed from office when a new line-up is installed, have voiced no concerns and affirmed their respect for the Prime Minister’s final decision.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai said today that no one knows who will remain in office after the Cabinet reshuffle while noting that no ministry policy will be changed even if the Minister is to be removed because everything has always been in accordance with the government policies.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mrs. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, said today that the reshuffle decision is always at the discretion of the Prime Minister and she is ready to accept his decision if she has to leave the post following speculation that suggests she would be one of the ministers, who will be replaced.

Mrs. Kobkarn stated that she has been doing her best during the past three years in office and would not regret anything after having seen the country’s tourism and sports become developed more substantially.

The spokesman of the Prime Minister’s Office, Lt. Gen. Sunsern Kaewkumnerd, said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha told all ministers during the weekly Cabinet meeting that a change in the line-up is nothing personal but is needed to enhance the efficiency of the government, while asking those to be removed not to be upset with his decision.

The annual shuffle up of the inactive post department...

Nice to see that the swill in the trough is being shared around.

Musical chairs. But I'll bet the 4 stooges who should go, won't.

Nothing to worry. There are committees and commissions vacancies waiting to be filled by junta surrogates.
