Is ALL fairy dust as far as I can tell. NONE of these work as of Nov 2017 after YEARS of promises. 

Don't waste any time, you MUST go to Immigration Office near airport; God knows why Thai 

authorities make these false claims... I have tried all of them including the IE based online 

app which again, is not working. 

Online works for some.

The other options were either gossip, rumours or an April Fool joke.
