I live a happy life, and have for the past 22 years, when I quit drinking alcohol.

hi david ,hope you r well. i too had a drink problem,but while i am in u.k. i dont drink.i had allways been a binge drinker but in the u.k. i have moved to an area where i am away from my old pals,i am running a catering business see <removed> the only time i seem to fail is when i am in thailand .where i have had a problem with my neighbours.wnt holiday spain last year didnt touch a drop.its been 3/4 years since i was at my lowest ebb.....unfotunately i cannot socialise where there is alchohol available. so sport is my outlet.

Dee - I used to be the same. Now, I have many pals who don't drink and I can socialise with them. They taught me how to socialise and now I can go to bars, parties etc where there is drink and have a great time without it.
