Lula Slams Trump’s Tariff Threat: "He's Not Emperor of the World"

Brazil’s President Lula da Silva has slammed Donald Trump over tariff threats, declaring the former US president “not elected to be the emperor of the world.” This comes after Trump announced a 50% tariff on Brazilian imports, citing a “witch hunt” against his ally, ex-president Jair Bolsonaro.

Bolsonaro is currently on trial in Brazil, accused of attempting a coup following Lula's 2022 election victory. If convicted, Bolsonaro could face over 40 years in prison. Lula emphasised Brazil’s independent judiciary, affirming Bolsonaro is judged by his actions, not by political motivations.

Lula candidly stated that if Trump were Brazilian, he’d be on trial for any Capitol insurrection equivalent. He was shocked by Trump's social media post, initially dismissing it as “fake news.” In response, Brazil has vowed to impose its own tariffs if Trump follows through, with Lula insisting Brazil will not accept unilateral dictates.

Despite the heated exchange, Lula remains open to discussions, stating he hopes Trump will approach negotiations seriously. Highlighting past US-Brazil trade dynamics, Lula expressed eagerness for dialogue, underlining that international relations should avoid confrontational paths.

On a related front, the US announced an investigation into Brazil’s trade practices, focusing on digital trade and anti-corruption issues. The outcome could further strain relations between the two economies, but Lula maintains optimism for amicable resolutions.

Trump is highly supportive of leaders, despots and dictators who defy the rule of law. I think that they are easier for him to relate to, than those who obey rules, regulations, conventions, treaties, agreements, and laws, and respect their own people.

Trump and Vance et.al. are trying to meddle in several countries (Brazil, France, Germany) where they accuse the authorities of staging a “witch hunt” against Trump’s fascist brethren, while they are actually being prosecuted for actual crimes they committed. But what else would you expect from the felon in chief and his boot licking sycophants?

Nothing to do with Project 2025 and everything to do with blatant political bias from tax payer funded news organisations.

And why do you think that is? Because the radical loony left love and believe MSM 100% and are unable to recognise political bias when it slaps them in the face by any chance? As for the radical left the people of the US reject this wholeheartedly at the election.

"He's Not Emperor of the World"

Instead:

He is the Elected Tyrant, fooling  own followers with empty promises to gain entry into America's highest office.

As a result,  rapidly losing own supporters by his countless lunacies.

Doing far greater damages to own home, in the first few months in office.

A lot more than the "Deep State" he claims he is fighting against

Earning few friends, making enemies all directions even among traditional US allies.

No. He’s the elected president of the USA, though many suffer from self inflicted tyranny causing mental aguish and duress because of it.

If only Lula read aseannow he would learn he has nothing to worry about. Trumps tariffs are just a tax on Americans. Or is that narrative pure horse pucky?

For most of you who know nothing about Brazil and Bolsonaro, I suggest you watch Apocalypse in the Tropics horror documentary, showcasing the goal of right wing evangelical pastors who call on their flock to disrupt politics as usual. In the sort term it means voting in more conservative evangelical lawmakers to rule in their favour, but in the long run, the goal may be to sow more chaos to hasten the end times.

Sounds familiar?

I've said this many times. I'm not MAGA. I've also said this many times and that is I'm not a radical woke loony lefty. It is fun though to trigger those of you with the syndrome. It's so easy. The loony left is all but dead but refuses to stop kicking. It's pathetic.

That's the sound of MAGA denial. We all hear it, we all see it.

Anything that throws shade on the fearful leader of any MAGA member is considered rubbish. They can bring no facts to refute the article because it's all based on their "feelings" you understand.
