BANGKOK — Pheu Thai Party’s chairman said Friday his party was not behind calendars featuring former prime ministers Thaksin Shinawatra and Yingluck Shinawatra, who are currently living in exile.

A photo of one of two calendar designs posted Thursday by a Pheu Thai supporter show Thaksin, still the party’s de facto leader despite his ouster a decade ago, holding his infant granddaughter. The other shows Yingluck, its most recent leader and Thaksin’s sister, performing a waii.

Put me down for one of each

Forget the Thaksin/Yingluk calenders.....I'm waiting for the General Prawit calender.

Have you broken your original dartboard?

I'm waiting for the Pravit calendar featuring him wearing a different watch every month.

I don't understand. What is the big deal if they did? I wouldn't have one in the house myself unless they were giving them away, but if others want one then good luck to them.

swimsuit edition?

That would be one of his diamond encrusted calendars

Thaksin in a swimsuit................................PASS!

Prayut obviously upset and jealous of Thaksin and Yingluck popularity over him.

Maybe, but Prayut is here and is PM, but Thaksin is in Dubai the Sea and never the twain shall meet.

Love it:))......but no doubt, a reason for delaying elections yet again.

Bored at throwing at the dart board then?

Probably flogging them - times must be hard with no access to the trough!

The could have included other also convicted family members in a sort of "rogues gallery" calendar :smile:

Rogues gallery? Look no further than the current "government". The only problem is that if you actually published pictures of the real "rogues" the junta protects, you would end up in jail for a law we cannot name. Such is the nature of Thailand.

I wonder which date in November the calendar has set as the election.

Exactly. He is the one eye king in the land of the blind and shouldn’t fear non existent competitors.

Will we see a rogues gallery of generals flaunting their ill gotten wealth. Prawit with his watched & Preecha with his mansions. Prayut and his luxury cars? Maybe. :smile:

Is it true that this calendar has Thanksgiving 3 times?

I'll bet Miss Piggy's behind these calendars, now that the ammo boxes are running out of steam as a threat to national security. Tomorrow, we'll be hearing that, until the culprits are known and punished, there will be no election . . . wouldn't surprise me.

counting on most thais to not have a brain;

good gamble

I can think of several captions for both calendars, most of which would not pass scrutiny by moderators.

the reds have their corner of thailand;

for some resounding reasons;

fact remains, thailand cannot govern itself;

1931 thailand may have been the better option

Everyone has a brain. Most people just don't use it.

Big deal if they did make a calender. Is that against the law? Whiffs of fascism here....blimey.

So what.

Where is the law that says they can't make a calendar?

We need a special law ??again.

Maybe, but Prayut is here and is PM, but Thaksin is in Dubai the Sea and never the twain shall meet.

Well, unless Prayut ends up in exile there. Now there is a chance encounter at which I would love to be a fly on the wall!

A fugitives calendar.  A Thaksin calendar and a Yingluck calendar.

Do we have a Dhammajayo calendar a Red Bull Boy calendar?

Maybe the junta should make their own calendar? E.g. like this? image.png.b7be45a828a9f9bdb461bc7b13a72e57.png
