You can find it for 132 in some supermarkets... I'm drinking one right now lol

Also worth watching out for is Franciskaner and weisensteipher and maiselweiss (spellings probably wrong)

They're starting to become popular in some bkk supermarkets

lol, just popped a Dunkel open and read this.

Belgium is lagging behind when it comes to "craft beers". Sad to say.

Of course we still have about 400 different "old style" beers, each with their own style glass.

And yes, unfortunately, we have Stella and Jupiler as our best selling beers, I believe they are now owned by a Brazilian (American?) company. Jupiler was actually quite drinkable before the marketing boys destroyed it (it is now not too sweet, not too sour, not too bitter, in 1 word: tasteless and therefore ideal for the tasteless masses).

And to add insult to injury, one of our better kriek beers - Mort Subite - will from now on be marketed worldwide by Heineken.

Heineken selling beer??? What has this world come to???

Those 400 different varieties, although not technically craft beers, are amongst the world's best beers.

It's aint touristville around here and there are plenty of options.

The thais are taking to it like ducks to.... well, craftbeer...

Don't know where you live but there isn't any craft beer where I am in Chiang Rai.

I don't count bottled imports from US as craft beer as there are some sold through Hungry Wolf's for exorbitant prices.

How would you ever know it was 10%abv?

Did you have some sort of test kit while out drinking?

I had read somewhere that the ABV of Chang beer could vary that much sometimes as high as 11%. That was pretty much common knowledge twenty years back. Believe me you could tell the difference if you drank one that had a higher content.
