Didn't see the routes yet, read it in a certain newspaper. The announcement on Tuesday 5 double track projects to commence in Thailand, Sino-Thai and Ital-Thai surprisingly have the contracts. Some common sense at last. it will have to be narrow gauge as passenger/ freight traffic will have to run along with construction taking place. lots of temporary track and signalling to diver traffic during construction. I'll be dropping my CV to the companies involved after the holiday

 

Looking forward to some bright ideas about building a standard gauge railway in conjunction with narrow gauge trains running
