Did a quick search and saw some people said tm47 required.  Is this still required and what are other docs.  Do you have to report into the TM30 office as well when doing this?

If it is you first 90 day report you will need a completed TM47 form. If not all you need is the receipt for your previous report.

Not sure they are asking for a TM30 form for every report.

As ubonjoe says, only needed if reporting for the first time.
If you have a previous report slip in your passport, no need to fill one out.

 

Did my 90-day report at Jomtien about a month ago, after having been out of the country for a while this summer. Just brought my passport with me, received and filled out the TM-47 there.

 

(I did have a TM-30 in my passport this time around, as there’s been so much discussions about the need for one recently. The IO did glance at the TM-30 as it wasn’t stapled, but didn’t seem to pay any attention to it, and just stapled it to a page in the back of my passport.)
