Big Kahuna opening up very soon with a soft opening planned for next week it seems according to  it's faceache page.

I wish the big lad all the very best & will most defo being sampling the food & delicious beverages.

Good margaritas should be made with fresh squeezed lime not the bottled stuff & I'd like to maybe see a french martini done with actually freshly squeezed pineapple juice (none of the boiled rubbish in cartons)

But, will they be shaken or stirred?

Progress is being made.  Today they were using a power washer to clean the sidewalk and they've added some planters.  Looks like there's a counter/bar along the new (bamboo?) "fence" along the front patio and they seemed to be working on indoor facilities, too.  I'm quite looking forward to the new place, especially if it's up to the standards of  POR.

The OP refers to a faceache (sic) page for this new place.

It doesn't show on gaggle.

So what's the link, eh?

I think it's kind of a shame that this place is already being compared to Pastrami and Rye which it can't possibly be and they haven't even released their menu yet. How about judging it on what it actually turns out to be?

Interesting, there must be something wrong with your gaggle[sic].
I just entered "the big kahuna pattaya facebook", and it was displayed at the top of the page.

What was displayed? I get Big Kahuna ENTERTAINMENT about a band.

There are Big Kahuna brands in many places.

Show the link of the restaurant in JOMTIEN, why don't you?

breakfast cook from Pastrami and Rye

Wasn't he also involved in Hooters  ? Seems he is trying to bring another franchise to Thailand.

From Facebook:   Hawaiian inspired dishes, Thai food, hearty breakfast, American sandwiches and a fun clean environment.
Sounds like fun. The Hawaiian part is a little surprising because even in the U. S. the only thing popular about Hawaiian food is poke raw fish bowls.

John, Sean and JC were the ownership team of P&R.  U are thinking of Sean.  JC is the new owner of the Big Kahuna.  My guess is that BK will serve very good stuff.  Looking forward to its grand opening.

Went 2 days ago.  They serve fresh well made burgers.  Seem to be the American style burgers, good service and worth a try.  No gastrointestinal problems.

Forget the pineapple martini nonsense as they are not on the menu.

IMO this is Pastrami on Rye II, just under a new name , same owner and basically the same food.

Except a pastrami on rye isn't even on the menu.

Good hamburgers but anyone tried the pizza there yet?  Online nets zero search results/reviews.

New items added regularly, suggest you give it a try then you can post first hand information.
