Picture: 77Jowo A Pattaya man arrived home after celebrating New Year but instead of using his key to enter his house he thought it would be a good idea to vault the fence topped with spikes. The result was that 23 year old Worakarn Chaisit was impaled on a spike that had penetrated his left arm just above the elbow. Sawang Boriboon foundation medics were soon on the scene as Worakarn had awakened all the neighbors with his screams of pain at the Chatkaew housing estate in Bang Lamung. It took the rescue guys 30 minutes to cut off part of the gate and get him to hospital for surgical removal of the spike. He told the 77Jowo reporter that he didn't know why he hadn't used his key to get in - he guessed he must have been very drunk.
