First time every renewal

I'm sorry to be a nuisance here but maybe Ubonjoe or someone else can give me a heads up on best course. It's probably been asked before but I'm new at all this. Been married to a Thai lady for 11 years but because not enough finances can't stay permanently as much as I'd like to. This time I'm on a multi entry non imm O visa of which tells first 90 days expires on Jan20. I am booked to fly back to the States on Feb 20. (By the way I'm a Kiwi) Am I best to do a border run and get another 90 days or can I go to immigration. Dept Chaeng Watthana  and just get a 30 day extension. My concern with the latter is that 30 days from January 20 ends on Feb 19. Would that be a problem or would they give me an Xtra day to leave if I asked them. Thanks.

The 30-day extension is a tourist-extension - not applicable to you.

You can get a 60-day extension to visit your wife at CW.  Your wife will need to come with you to CW.  The "reason for extension" will be "Visit Thai Wife."

Go early, so if any problem, you can do a border-bounce, instead - though CW tends to be decent about such things (unlike some other offices).  The extension-days will start from the end of your current permitted-stay, so you don't lose any days by going early.

There is no 30 day extension you can get for a non immigrant visa entry. That is only done for tourist visa and visa exempt entries.

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your Thai wife. She will have to be with you when you apply for it.

It will be the standard 1900 baht fee charged for all extensions.
