I have worked for the same company for three one year contracts 2 months into the third year the owners of the company hired an outside mangagement company. The management company informed me that i would keep my job but bring in a new boss for me in a nutshell a demotion. Now i am informed by the owner of the company that the Bureau of Investment will not issue another work permit for the new management company employee with me in the departpartment and they don't have any other openings in other departments that i am qualified for a work permit. My contract states that i have 6 month probation and contract can be terminated by either party in writing within that time. My last day will be 75 days from now ..which makes my contract 4.5 months old.

1. am i close enough to try a legal for compensation?

2. am i entitled to 3 months pay as i worked legally for 3 years like a Thai?

3. Do i have to surrender my work permit to them? or to Thai Govt?

thanks for any help i am very shocked still

This depends on the contract and how it is written. You would turn in the wp yourself.

Our lawyers would be happy to help you. The first meeting to look at the contract clause would be free.
