Renewal of 60-day tourist visa

Featured Replies

Can you help ? I've previously visited the Kingdom for my annual 6-7 months here with a Multiple Entry Non-Immigrant "O" visa. Due to a change of the regulations in the consulates of Netherlands I was able to obtain only a single entry for the first 90 days. A trip to Malaysia gave me a 60-day tourist visa and its 30-day extension at the local friendly immigration office in Pai has taken me to the end of January 2018. Is it possible to obtain another 60-day tourist visa by land or must I fly out of the country ? I intend to leave Thailand mid-March. Thanks

You can travel overland to a nearby embassy or consulate to get a new single entry tourist visa.

If in the northern part of the country Vientiane Laos is a good location and in the south Penang Malaysia.

You could also do a border hop for a 30 day visa exempt entry that can be extended for 30 days at a immigration office.

With your nationality you can enter without a visa for 30 days stay.
