17 PM’s cardboard cutouts of himself will greet children on National Children’s Day

Children visiting the Government House on the National Children’s Day this Saturday will be greeted by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha – not only his real person, but also 17 life-sized cardboard cut-outs of himself in 17 postures.

The 17 cardboard cutouts are divided into three sets – in sports outfits, in traditional Thai trousers and in suits. All the look-alikes are in impassive mood like Ja Choey, the cardboard traffic policeman cutouts which once dotted many road intersections in Bangkok to warn motorists and motorists that “Big Brother” is watching you.

Prime Minister Prayut is scheduled to preside over the National Children’s Day event at the Government House at 9.40am on Saturday. He will address a group of selected children under a programme of Metropolitan Police Bureau.

And the adults...

Lucky children. No, really. They are lucky they don’t actually have to meet this goon.

He's a real card,  isn't he! :giggle:

Side on, he's found the perfect way to hide an inflated ego

Please allow the cut out to run for Parliament, I think it has a lot to offer.

Will darts be provided to the kids?

You got it all wrong. Remember the photos of kids holding automatic weapons at army camps. I always wondered what they are pointing at.

You mean he isn't a cardboard cut-out.

Totally creepy

I'm going to make some cardboard cutouts of me to put behind my desk at work and various other places.  I mean, if Prayut can do it, my boss can't complain...

Ha! The third one from the right is obviously the real deal, just look at the evasive action and tight stare right there. Only the Supreme Leader would be wise enough to photobomb his own cardboard copies, All Hail!
