January 14, 20188 yr I have searched the threads and not found the answer to obtain a single entry non immigrant "o" visa based on marriage from the Thai embassy in Vientiane. If somebody with recent experience at this embassy regard this type of visa I would be grateful. Australian citizen married to Thai and normally get my visa issued in Perth but will travel to Vientiane end of February to get a new visa. Thanks for any useful info.
January 14, 20188 yr You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card signed by her. You will need a copy of your passport photo page and the Lao visa on arrival and entry stamp.
January 14, 20188 yr Author Thanks ubonjoe for the quick response and info. One more question. Are any financial documents and onward flight bookings leaving Thailand required? Thanks in advance.

I have a marriage registration certificate KR 22 issued in Thailand.

The will accept your Australian marriage certificate. No translation is needed since it is in English. Only immigration asks for the Kor Ror 22 when applying for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage.
