DPM Chatchai denies rumors of government in trouble

BANGKOK, 23 January 2018 (NNT) – A deputy prime minister has denied that the government has been facing some troubles.

Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Chatchai Sarikanlaya said on Monday that the government is still continuing to work without any difficulties as all Cabinet members and state offices have been playing their part as called for in the national reform roadmap and in the orders of Prime Minister and chief of the National Council for Peace and Order Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha.

?Gen. Chatchai also said that the decision by the National Legislative Assembly’s special committee in charge of the draft law on the election of the Members of Parliament to delay the effective date of this law by 90 days had been made without any guidance or order from any individual or group.

In addition, the DPM brushed aside claims by political groups that the current administration is losing steam and efficiency in its operation.

You can brush it anyway you want, but we all know how military governments fare over the longer run.

The junta government is in trouble. Armed Force day will not be attended by high ranking dignitaries.
