Dear Folks, In my view, almost nobody, not the pilots, and not the air-traffic controllers, around here know ANYTHING about noise abatement, nor the many good reasons for reducing aircraft noise which is now affecting hundreds of thousands of people, especially in CM. The noise just increases as the years pass. The only quiet time, a once-in-a century time, was during COVID. So, does it really take an epidemic to achieve significant noise abatement? This is why I am pinning my hopes on Trump, once again. I believe, from the trajectory of the Iran War, and due to the aspirations of Israel, that petroleum, and petroleum reserves in all countries…will be used up. If we reduce the availability of petroleum by a solid 20-percent, and hopefully more, just due to a single war in Iran, and maybe due to the war in the Ukraine, will this stop the blasted noise which is now constant, and 24-hours, since 2023? The worst offenders, IMHO, are flights heading for China and Taiwan (Taipei). If we could get rid of the Chinese and China/Taipei flights out of CM, then I would be half-way satisfied. I do not mind any or all flights originating from BKK to China, etc. I object only to the Chiang Mai airport flights. Also, what is with the seeming sudden increase of China-bound and ROC-bound flights, beginning last week? What is happening there??? No matter what, I am just praying that Tump will put an end to this incessant and unnecessary noise. Go, DONALD…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Love you Don….
